The purpose of this award is to acknowledge and recognize exceptional contributions to the club by its individual members. It is expected that any nominee will have dedicated time and effort on behalf of the club that is well above and beyond the norm.
A candidate for the award may be nominated in writing by any club member. The executive will review all nominations and vote on whether or not to present the award at that time. When submitting a nomination, the candidate’s exceptional service to the club must be described on the form, detailing why the nominee deserves special recognition. Nomination forms will be enclosed in the Fall or Winter issue of the Bernese Please Newsletter.
Members of the BMDCC Executive/Board of Directors may not be nominated while holding an active position with the club.
The awards, where possible, are presented at the National Specialty.
